These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made via platabag.com and are binding for customers in Poland, Germany, and Austria. By placing an order, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms in full.
I. Definitions
Online Store / Store — the e-commerce website at www.platabag.com through which Customers may browse and purchase Goods.

Customer — any adult natural person, legal entity, or organisational unit with legal capacity who places an Order in the Store.
Consumer — a Customer who is a natural person making a purchase unrelated to their professional or business activity. All mandatory EU consumer protection regulations apply in full.
Goods — leather handbags and accessories offered for sale in the Store.
Order — the Customer’s declaration of intent to purchase specific Goods in a specified quantity, submitted via the Store.
Cart — the system tool allowing Customers to collect selected Goods before finalising an Order.
Agreement — the distance sales contract concluded between the Seller and the Customer via the Store.
Business Days — Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Poland.
II. General Provisions
The Store is operated and administered by the Seller.
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of Goods via the Online Store and define the rules for using the Store.
To use the Store, the Customer must have internet access and a current web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari — latest versions). An active, correctly configured e-mail account is also required.

The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Amendments apply only to Orders placed after the effective date of the change.
III. Products and Prices
All Goods are described in their product listings, including photographs, dimensions, materials, and available colours. Photographs are illustrative; minor variations in colour may occur due to screen settings.
Prices are displayed in Polish Zloty (PLN) for customers in Poland, and in Euro (EUR) for customers in Germany and Austria. Currency is automatically detected based on your location. All prices include applicable VAT.
Shipping costs are not included in the displayed product price. They are calculated and clearly shown during checkout before the Order is confirmed.
The lowest price of each product during the 30-day period prior to any price reduction is displayed in accordance with EU Omnibus Directive requirements.
The Seller reserves the right to change prices and product descriptions. Changes do not affect Orders already placed.
The Seller is obliged to deliver Goods free from defects.
IV. Orders
Orders are accepted exclusively through the Store at www.platabag.com, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Availability may be temporarily interrupted for technical reasons.
The Sales Agreement is concluded in English.
The Agreement is formed at the moment the Customer clicks the ‘Order and Pay’ button, confirming acceptance of the Seller’s offer and these Terms and Conditions.
Each Order is limited to a maximum of 50 units of a single product.
V. Order Procedure
1. Select the desired product and click ‘Add to Cart’.
2. Review the Cart: contents, quantities, and total price including shipping.
3. Proceed to checkout. You may continue as a guest or log into / create an account.
4. Enter your delivery address and select a delivery method. Shipping costs are displayed at this stage.
5. Select a payment method and complete payment.
6. Click ‘Order and Pay’. This constitutes a binding, paid Order.
After placing your Order, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation with your order details and current status. Order status can be checked in your Account under ‘Orders’ (registered customers only).
VI. Delivery
The Store ships to Poland, Germany, and Austria.
Delivery options and estimated timeframes:
Poland: InPost (parcel lockers), DHL Parcel, Poczta Polska — up to 5 Business Days from payment confirmation.
Germany: DHL International — 5–7 Business Days from payment confirmation.
Austria: DHL International — 5–7 Business Days from payment confirmation.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and selected method. Any applicable free shipping thresholds are displayed in the Store.
Delivery dates provided by couriers are estimates. The Seller is not liable for delays caused by courier companies or customs.
If a delivery attempt fails and the parcel is not collected within the courier’s holding period, it will be returned to the Seller. The Seller will contact the Customer to arrange re-delivery (at the Customer’s cost) or issue a refund.
If ordered Goods are unavailable, the Seller will notify the Customer within 30 days and refund the full amount paid.
VII. Payment Methods
The following payment methods are accepted:
Credit / Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard) — processed securely via Stripe. Available for all delivery countries. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. The Seller does not store card details.
PayPal — log in with your PayPal account or pay as a guest. Available for all delivery countries.
Przelewy24 — online bank transfers for customers in Poland, including BLIK and instant transfers from major Polish banks.
All payments are processed via encrypted, secure payment infrastructure.
For card and PayPal payments, Goods are dispatched after payment confirmation. If payment is not received within 5 Business Days of the Order, the Agreement automatically expires and the Order is cancelled.
Electronic invoices (PDF) are sent to the e-mail address provided at checkout. Requests for paper invoices or VAT invoices with business details may be submitted to t.plata@platabag.com.
VIII. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
As a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this Agreement within 14 days of receiving the Goods, without giving any reason.
The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a third party you designate (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the Goods.
How to withdraw:
Send a clear written statement of withdrawal to: t.plata@platabag.com before the 14-day deadline expires. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of receipt.

Return of Goods:
You must return the Goods no later than 14 days from the date of your withdrawal notice. The deadline is met if the Goods are dispatched before this period expires.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.
Goods must be returned unused, in their original condition, free from signs of use beyond what is necessary to assess their nature, characteristics, and functioning. The Seller reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Refund:
The Seller will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard outbound delivery (not including additional delivery costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard option offered), within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods or proof of their dispatch — whichever is earlier.
Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the original transaction. No additional fees are charged for refunds.
Cash-on-delivery returns are not accepted.
IX. Complaints and Statutory Warranty
The Seller is liable for physical and legal defects of Goods under the statutory warranty (rękojmia) for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer law.
To file a complaint, contact us at t.plata@platabag.com with: your name, order number, description of the defect, and photographs where applicable.
The Seller will respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt and will contact you to agree on the appropriate remedy (repair, replacement, or refund).
X. Promotions
The Store may organise promotional campaigns affecting prices or purchase conditions. Promotions are not cumulative unless expressly stated. Promotions apply only to Orders placed during the promotional period.
XI. Payment Complaints
If payment has been completed but the Order status has not updated within 2 Business Days, contact us at t.plata@platabag.com with your order number and proof of payment.
XII. Store Operation Complaints
Technical complaints regarding the operation of the Store may be submitted to t.plata@platabag.com. Please include a description of the issue and the date it occurred. The Seller will address reported issues within a reasonable time.
XIII. Newsletter
Customers may subscribe to the Store’s newsletter by providing explicit opt-in consent. Subscription is voluntary and may be cancelled at any time via the unsubscribe link in any newsletter e-mail or by contacting t.plata@platabag.com.
XIV. Personal Data
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy available at: https://platabag.com/privacy-policy
By placing an Order, the Customer acknowledges that their personal data will be processed by the Seller for the purpose of order fulfilment and customer service, and — where consent has been given — for marketing communications.
XV. Dispute Resolution
Consumers have the right to use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms available in their country of residence.
The Seller is willing to participate in out-of-court dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The relevant body in Poland is: Inspekcja Handlowa (Trade Inspection).
Consumers in Germany may contact their local Verbraucherzentrale (consumer advice centre) for assistance: www.verbraucherzentrale.de
Consumers in Austria may contact the Arbeiterkammer: www.arbeiterkammer.at
Note: The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was shut down on 20 July 2025 and is no longer operational.
XVI. Final Provisions
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the Customer’s country of residence (including Germany and Austria).
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found invalid by a final court decision, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
These Terms and Conditions were last updated in May 2026 and supersede all previous versions.
