We want you to love your PLATA BAG. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we make the return process as straightforward as possible.
I. Right of Withdrawal — 14 Days, No Questions Asked
As a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the Goods, without giving any reason.
The 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day you physically receive your order.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us before the 14-day deadline:

Include: your full name, order number, and which item(s) you wish to return.
You will receive written confirmation of your withdrawal notice within 2 Business Days.

III. Conditions for Return
Returned items must:
— be in original, unused condition
— show no signs of use beyond what is necessary to assess the product (as you would in a physical shop — trying it on is fine; wearing it daily is not)
— be returned with any dust bag, packaging, or accessories that were included
The Seller reserves the right to refuse a return or reduce the refund amount if the Goods show clear signs of use or damage caused by the Customer.
Items not eligible for return:
— items showing signs of daily use (scratches, stains, odours, deformation)
— items returned after the 14-day deadline without prior written agreement
— items sent without prior e-mail confirmation from our team
— items sent via cash on delivery (COD) — we do not accept COD returns
IV. How to Return — Step by Step
1. E-mail us at m.plata@platabag.com with subject: RETURN — [order number].
2. We reply within 2 Business Days with the return address and instructions.
3. Pack the item securely. Include a note inside: your name and order number.
4. Ship using a tracked courier service. Keep your tracking number.
5. E-mail us the tracking number once shipped.
6. Once received and inspected, your refund is processed within 14 days.
ℹ Do not send items without prior e-mail confirmation. We cannot guarantee processing of unsolicited returns.
V. Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer, except when:
— the item arrived damaged or defective, or
— we sent an incorrect item.
In these cases, we will cover return shipping costs or provide a pre-paid return label.
Recommended return options:
Poland: InPost, DHL, Poczta Polska — standard tracked parcel
Germany: DHL Paket with tracking (approx. €5–6)
Austria: DHL with tracking (approx. €6–8)
We strongly recommend using a tracked service. PLATA BAG accepts no liability for parcels lost during return transit.
VI. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 14 days.
The refund covers the full product price. Original outbound shipping costs are also refunded up to the value of the standard (cheapest) delivery option. Additional delivery costs you may have chosen above the standard option are not refunded.
Refund processing times by payment method:
Card (Stripe): 3–5 Business Days, depending on your bank.
PayPal: 1–3 Business Days to your PayPal account.
Przelewy24: up to 5 Business Days to your source bank account.
Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase. No additional fees are charged.
VII. Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at m.plata@platabag.com.
Please include: order number, description of the defect, and clear photographs.
We will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund depending on the defect and stock availability.
Under EU statutory warranty law, the Seller is liable for defects discovered within 2 years of delivery.
VIII. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different colour or model, please return your item for a full refund and place a new order.
